Attila Vamos-Hegyi, Head of Partner Wholesale Dept., Magyar Telekom PlcAttila VAMOS-HEGYI is the Head of Partner Wholesale Dept. at Magyar Telekom Plc., the market leader Hungarian integrated landline–mobile–online telco. He is responsible for the Third Party (Wholesale) Business of the company contracting all major aggregators and content providers.
Prior to that in 1996 – as a pioneer in Hungary – he launched a special creative team named “TeleWestel”, an interactive telephony service provider branch of Westel (the first mobile operator in Hungary). Later it is called TeleAktiv at T-Mobile (the rebranded Westel). He directed TeleWestel/TeleAktiv for more than eight years developing mobile marketing solutions and deploying hundreds of IVR and SMS applications. The introduction and service provisioning of Premium Rate products are significant parts of their portfolio since 2002.
Attila is Board Member of the Hungarian Direct Marketing Association from 1997 and the Deputy Chairman of HDMA since 2000. He was either president or member of the Program Committees of annual DM events (e.g. Golden Dove) and delivered presentations for Hungarian and International conferences (organized by IBC, Voice Europe, VMA, ZDM, Comverse, DMA06 USA, World Telemedia etc.). He is lecturer of the College of International Management (Budapest Business School) since 2000. He received his first degree from the Technical University of Budapest and postgraduated at the College of Foreign Trade (Business Administration) afterwards.
